promoting socialist ideals have been well appreciated in numerous national and international for a well traveled person, Tapas Sinha has visited numerous countries of Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, He has represented the country in 14th World Festival of Youth and Students (WFYS) held in Cuba in 1997 and has led the national delegation in the subsequent 15th, 16th and 17th WFYS hold in Algeria, Venezuela and South Africa. Tapas Sinha has also attended the National Congresses of Communist Youth Organizations of Greece, Vietnam, Hungary, Srilanka, Nepal, United Kingdom, Portugal, Russia, France and Cyprus among many others. As GC member of WFDY had traveled to Hungary, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Palestine and South Korea.
Under the aegis of WFDY, Tapas Sinha had participated in the international relief efforts in Palestine and Lebanon after US led Imperialist aggression, He has also led 10 member Indian delegation of to China in 2006 and subsequently had visited the country on invitation of All China Youth Federation (ACYF) in 2009, during which he traveled across the length and breadth of the country.
